What a glorious day it is today.  We celebrate a Risen Savior.  Join us this morning as we are blessed in song and given the Word.  We are challenged this morning to stop standing around as Christians and hoping someone else will do what they are supposed to.  Why not you?

Today, as we start to get prepared for Easter, Bro. Brent shares about the Journey to Jerusalem our Savior took.  Please take special consideration to realize he took this journey knowing how it would end.  In todays message we learn about the 3 "P's" of the trip.  We look at the "Place", the "People", and ultimately the "Purpose" of Jesus' journey to Jerusalem. 

Today Bro. Brent shares out of Judges.  We learn about the dangers of putting our own spin on the Word of God.  We see how far the Children of Israel fell in just 3 generations after taking possession of the Promised Land.  If His chosen people can suffer from this pitfall we should be even more vigilant not to do the same. 

For you to truly experience Jesus, you must get yourself out of the way.  John the Baptist knew this and in todays message he explains that to his followers.  When we finally realize everything is about Him and not "me" we will start to grow in Christ.

Last week we learned the bad news.  That who we are and what we do will never be enough to get us into Heaven.  This week as Bro. Brent preaches the truth of John 3:16, we learn that Jesus loved us so much that he paid a debt for us that we could never truly pay.  Then all we have to do is accept that gift to escape our fate.  Listen today as we learn about how easy it is to accept Jesus.

Most everyone has a little trouble dealing with bad news...especially when it is about them.  Today Bro. Brent shares about a how a rich young ruler heard some bad news.  He came to realize a somber and sobering lesson that we all need to hear.  God does not play favorites.  It doesn't matter who you are, who your family is, or where you were born.  You are born into the same judgement as every person on earth.  The good news is that you don't have to look for a way out.  It is the same for everyone that comes searching for it.  Jesus is the truth and the life.  He is sufficient to save every soul on this earth.  All you have to do is ask. 

With the events of the world starting to echo prophecy louder each day, how serious do to take Jesus' promise  that He is coming back soon?
 
When He returns it will be one of two things.. 
 
Glorious or Sobering.  So ask yourself today "Are you Ready" 

As Christians, we should all draw hope in this world from the fact God is still on His Throne and is still in control!

This mornings message contains a hard truth we all need to realize.  There is only one thing that will allow us to avoid what Bro. Brent speaks about today.  Luckily, Ms. Mary tells us about who that is in today's special song.
 
We still live in a period of grace, one day that will not be the case.  Make sure you know where you stand today!
